SolidWorks Designer needed to model and detail subsea equipment and components. Position requires mechanical aptitude and proficiency in SolidWorks 3D design software. Hands on mechanical experience is a plus. The Subsea Company is located in North West Houston. Send resume to jobs@thesubsea.com.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create models and tolerance corresponding drawings
• Create features and library models
• Analyze minimum/maximum tolerance requirements based on company and industry standards
• Create Bill of Materials
• Works directly with Engineers, Manufacturing, and Customers to work out design issues

ATTRIBUTES

• Associates degree in Drafting and Design Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Knowledge of fabrication and machining practices
• Mechanical aptitude. Someone that enjoys building things and using their hands
• Desire to work with manufacturing personnel to incorporate their input into designs
• Proactively improves their design and SolidWorks skills.
